BTS DC Coach Training, Caleb Livingston for Everesting Challenge

We all have Everest-sized problems in our lives. I want to show that even our biggest problems can be overcome one step at a time. I am attempting the Everesting Challenge.

The Everesting Challenge is a solo attempt to run the vertical height of Mount Everest (29,029 feet) in one running session. You have to run up a mountain/hill until you have reached the elevation gain of Mount Everest, or until you quit. The Challenge can take well over 24 hours to complete. My goal is to become the 3rd American to officially complete the challenge in under 24 hour. I will have to run over 58 miles with 29,029 feet of elevation gain to complete the challenge. This will take place on April 11th in the Poconoes.

I am running the Everesting Challenge to raise awareness and donations for Wrestling to Beat the Streets DC. This organization is bringing wrestling to inner city schools in Washington, DC. As coach for BTS, I have seen first hand how wrestling is helping these young men and women learn the life-long skills to overcome the obstacles in their lives. BTS-DC runs solely off of donations. Every dollar helps provide our kids with wrestling shoes, gear, mats, bus rides to competitions, etc.

Caleb wrestled for Penn State University in college.
