Wrestling to Beat the Streets DC is a proud member of the Fight For Children Institute (FFCI) network along with 16 other sports-based youth development (SBYD) programs in the greater Washington, DC area. The FFCI is the DMV’s only youth sports collaborative which provides responsive grants and capacity building services to SBYD nonprofits. FFCI’s 17 founding nonprofits use the power of sports to positively impact the lives of underserved children and youth. By strategically bringing these organizations together, the Institute helps members deliver their best work by collaborating, learning from one another and sharing best practices.
The Wrestling Coalition of the District of Columbia (WCDC) is the D.C. chapter for USA Wrestling.
The WCDC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization incorporated in DC. We are comprised of local wrestling coaches, clubs, schools and amateur wrestling supporters with the goal of promoting the growth of amateur wrestling at the youth, high school, collegiate and post collegiate levels.
